I have a question for you guys about my solara.... I plan on buying TRD rims for my car (TSW REVO 17" 215/45/17). I want to know will the car look funny if I put these rims on without lowering the car?

Everything is stock on my car (Black Toyota Solara 2000 w/ 7pc molly designs body kit)

I wouldn't say it would look funny, plenty of ppl have aftermarket rims without lowering their cars. It will look BETTER if you do, but by no means will it look bad. People have different opinions, but I think you'll be ok

Rims + Kit -Suspension = Fugly. My philosophy is if youre gonna do it, do it right. If you have PLANS on lowering, thats understandable. My vote is definitely for lowering it.

Wont look so bad on black, but the wheel gap is real noticible on ligher colors.

I've never seen it done w/ the bodykit..im sure you'll be okay. I know some guy by my house has a silver one w/ just the trd rims and its not lowered. I think it looks decent..not too much of a gap, it might depend on the tires you get on there too.

I would say it's preference

maybe you should post something in the pics section, and see if people can post their pics of rims w/ and w/out lowering, then you can kinda get an idea.

I say lower though...

God bless
