Camry VS. Solara

Postby Jai_Jai_Binks » Mon Feb 14, 2005 9:32 am

both are nice (this coming from a dude who's got a camry and a solara). Both are nice cars, its just what are your long term intentions with the car..mod it out for carshows, then solara is more of an eyecathcer. If your using the car for commuting=solara, if your using the car as people mover..= camry!

I'd take a gen 4.5 V6 Camry over a four banger Solara anyday. But then again I'd take a gen 1-1.5 V6 Solara over a V6 Camry. It's all about the V6! See if you can find a V6 Solara.

The V6 Camry got too many miles on it for the asking price in my opinion. I'd say get the Solara if you don't plan on having more then 2 people getting in and out or as the other guys said find a V6 Solara.

I'd say go with the Solara........... :drinking:

I4 camry in california are dirt cheap. my aunt picked up a 4 banger SE last year for $18000 out of door with optional alarm.

Get the Solara! The quality is a notch above Camry, especially with leather.

How old are you? Gonna have kids? I got my Solara (2001, V6, stick) and then 18 months later had a bouncing baby boy.

Love the Solara, but wish I had the four doors.
