noise from supercharge's belt tensioner

Flip what exactly is a dynamic belt tensioner, and it comes iwth supercharger right

The older s/c's had trouble keeping the belt tension so TRD USA introduced the dynamic tensioner. the dynamic tensioner automatically adjusts belt tension to proper specs in order for it not to get loose, slip, spin off or etc unlike the old one. All the s/c's sold now have had the dynamic tensioner included. The first sold TRD S/C's didn't.

if you buy the car supercharged they have to completely reprogram the car cause the supercharger dosnt actully do anything without the computer being programed to do so. I test drove one to see if it would be worth my money and was sadly disapointed to find my car with nothng but an intake was faster than their supercharged solara. the trd supercharger is not worth the money. if you want a real beast you can buy a more powerful supercharger for same price or less and get it custom built for you at a performance shop.

What kinda of problem w/ Kazuma S/C?
So far the belt do fine for me

I did not have to re-program the computer when I installed the S/C.
The ECU takes time to adjust though.

Ur Solara w/ intake is faster than the S/C?
What kind of intake do you have? I may want to get one too!

Well, there lies the problem, if they had to "reprogram" the car, obviously, they are geniuses and figured out the proprietary Toyota ECU codes, thus causing the car to run slower than one with a normal intake. Yes, it's definitely not worth it to get the S/C, might as well get that SpiralMax or the timing advance kit...

LOL do i sense a little sarcasm. The ECU does not need to be reprogrammed, it will update over time. Also i have NEVER heard of an intake that does more for a car than a 4 psi supercharger. Remember the SC is just another form for increased induction, just like an intake. But they don't need to reprogram it for an intake?!~?! hehe

There have been a ton of posts about this, i know for a fact because i started one. Even when the SC was going to cost $3500 the general notion was taht it was still worth it

Just the fact that the first batch of S/C's did not come with the dynamic tensioner, alot of people were having slippage/tension problems in the past.
