that's true..you got lucky..but some accident the seatbelt does more harm than good. that's true of airbags too.

i would feel better w/ the seatbelt, but i feel like it's safer (b/c of the visability restriction) to not wear it.

when i'm driving and there's black ice or it's snowing, i'll probably wear it tho.

i dont get how it restricts youre visibility...
is it that it locks and doesnt let you lean forward or what?

kinda..it's like i can't really turn when chaning lanes to check my blind spot, and i can't lean past the frame in the door to see what's coming around the corner..it's hard to explain..i think it interfers w/ my driving too cause i'm distracted by it and constantly trying to adjust it.

hahah..you're in jersey..turn signals are for the weak!

hahah..i'm bad w/ turn signals, but i'll use them if there's someone behind me, if i'm on the hgwy, or if i'm just in a turn signal mood..sometimes i'll use em, sometimes i don't! i always use them on the hgwy tho, just in case i don't realize there's someone in my blind spot..you never know!

i usually use them, but always when its a close cut
i hate when people are close to me and dont signal, cause im not sure if theyre just drifting or they want to switch lanes

I have seen an accident on the freeway where there was blood for about several meters. By the time I passed by the scene, I saw what seemed to be the driver's head outside the window of his upside down Mitsu Eclipse. When I saw it on the news that night, it mentioned that his car blew its front left tire and made the car flip twice. He wasnt wearing a seatbelt, the first flip probably popped him halfway outside the window, then the second (as the car dragged sideways by the left side) rubbed his skull to the ground like an eraser. He wasn't like gunman, this guy actually died in this case :(
As for me, I dont feel comfortable not wearing my seatbelts. Ever since I rode a car, I've always had them and maybe thats why I got used to them. :bday:

Ever had a dream that you went to school without pants on? Well, by the time you realize it in your dream, that's how I would feel driving without the seatbelts on. I'm weird

You wont lose anything if you wear them. If you dont, who knows you might lose your head or a quarter coin

omg..that is exactly why i want to wear my seatbelt! omg..i have to work at 9am.. i think i might wear it tomorrow..lol. since i started working in roadside i have this horrible fear of having a blow out. you would be amazed how many tires blow out on the hgwy all the time. it's not crappy old cars too..it will be a brand new infiniti w/ less than 20k, a brand new nissan, or kia, or anything for that matter..it just happens. if i get at least 5customers a night during a 5hour shift for blow outs, and that's just me..that's not counting all the other employees, all the other roadside companies, and all the other drivers that just change the tire themself..imagine how many people that happens to every day! scary thought....

i think blowouts are mostly caused by low (or high?) tire pressure
just be sure to check around once a month

I hope none of you gets a tire blowout here. And if you ever get one, just be happy if you get the chance to call someone like Missay.
