I use shell gas and chevron and with both i get about 350 to 375 miles to the tank. 14 gallons per fill up. I drive allot of hwy so obviously i get more mileage due to that. I get a avg. of 26 miles per gallon.

But if i were to drive more city which i use to i would only get about 300 miles to the tank. So you can see the diff. I would ocassionally gun it and have some fun... If you have a lead foot you will obviously eat up more gas..

Hehe you use the worse gas for your car. I work for OPW fueling components. We make Gas nozzles and every other part you see at gas stations except the dispensers. Any way I work as an engineer in the testing lab and we always soak test our orings and parts in shell gas and chevron. Those two do the most damage. They have more additives in the fuel and eat away at gaskets and seals on your car and our product. But on the plus side those additives help you get better gas milage. I recommend mobil or exxon gas. They use the least additives.

LOL I notice that too, NY always seems to have some little problem with your car. Sometimes it seems like you just look for something to be broken. :D

Im just talking about your gaskets and seals on your engine. Pretty much any gasket that comes in contact with fuel. I wouldn't be too concerned about it. It will take a long time for all of that to happen.

Yeah, thanks for the notice... What a pity though; Shell is usually the cheapest where I live, has a good automatic car wash and right around the corner; the nearest Mobil is 10 blocks away and doesn't even have a decent snack stop.

Yep yep, I usually use speedway or mobil gas. Im putting in two soak tests for rubber gaskets tommorrow. We soak them for three days. And guess what fuels were requested to use. Shell and Chevron premiums.
