I know that I can probably go to 10,000 miles, but my paranoia of dirty oil and sludge prevents me from going passed 6,000 miles. I would need to un-learn this and brainwash myself to changing my oil between 10,000-15,000 miles. Would just changing the oil filter at around 5,000 be enough to keep the oil semi-clean?
