guys, i think he's just trying to program another key--not bypass it so the alarm works.

if you're trying to program a 3rd key go to the dealership and tell them you also have a 2nd key in the bypass module. All 3 have to be programmed together.

Krook, you're on the money; do you think the DEI By-Pass module is preventing this problem? The key works in the doors and will go into the ignition but; won't start the car, and it's a Master Key with the chip. Thanks for your response.

no, the 555U is not a programmable unit. you stick the key inside the module, wire it up, and place a ring around your ignition key cylinder that will send the signal from the key when the remote start process occurs.

what is happening, i think, is that the key INSIDE the 555U module(which is probably one of your Master Keys) is NOT programmed in or was programmed at the same time you purchased your 3rd key. ALL THREE keys must be programmed at the same time.
