but then again, some cars are just factually (is that a word?) ugly!

At first I didn't like the Solara... I was like "wtf... a 2 door camry... who the hell would buy that! Toyota is trying WAY too hard!" @ age 15/16 but now love it

Factually ugly... and stupid... 2 door rav4... that thing looked horrible! It looked like one of those baby shoes.

I'm sure the Solara will look good since their target audience is the younger crowd (to increase camry sales like mad) but it seems that these days, the younger crowd can afford their SL 600s and S 55s

okay...i went to my dealership this week and asked when i could buy then new 2004 solara they didnt know...i asked if they saw it and the guy was like yeah most sales people have seen it already...he said that they had the solara and an sc430 lined up next to each other and the body outlines were the same...he said from the rear its almost impossible to tell the two cars apart...as well as from the side....i think its bull but i dont know just a few days left hehe

3.3 V6 VVTi with 5-speed automatic 225hp/5600 rpm 240 torque/3600 rpm
Same 4 cyl as current Camry with 4-speed automatic or 5-speed.

Only 225 HP? Shame...shame..shame....

The question is, will the 5 speed auto tranny gonna fit our 1MZ-FE 4 speed auto. (thinking abt. swap already)

A shame 5 speed V6's will become a thing of the past. I guess it will make me feel a little less inferior, heh. I could have had a child in less time than they said it would take me to get a 5 speed V6.

What ever happened to the rumored 245hp V6? 3MZ-FE VVT-i and 5spd auto with only 225? That's pitiful.

Yep I agree. That's why i'm a hard critic when it comes to these "rumors". I'll see it and believe it when it's official from Toyota.
