HIDs in Solara?

Postby 808Camry » Wed Jun 02, 2004 4:07 pm

I just finished retrofitting some projectors in my headlights, I just need to find the time this weekend to actually put them in. It wasn't too hard to do just time consuming, if it works out well and others like it I might consider making some for others as well. If you go to my cardomain site you can see my in progress pics for now as I didn't have time to take new pics yet.

I've seen many cops while I have my HID on, they don't even care. They only keep on checking my car during the day time, because I don't have my front plate on. I don't even thing they will pull me over for my HID lights.
I don't see any problem with Glare, you can't only see the glare above the heights of head lights.

neeedd projeeectoooorrrs :evilbat: :D I dont want to repeat what some people said but without projector the light just scatters and it sometimes make lighting worse... just makes it look "COOL"... I seen people take HID projectors from beemers and install them in R1's (motorcycle)headlights (looks very "mean" 8) ) and it actually improves the lighting... so im sure its not IMPOSSIBLE to fit them inside..... If you got the money and time i say go for broke and fit some projectors and pimp the REAL hid's 8) :D :bday:

projectors improve lighting...it's the BEST!!!
but if you can have xenon lighting for 400 bucks, why not?

let's put it this way. if we put all three options on a scale...it'll be like this, from 1 to 10

Halogen- 4
HID KIT - 8.5
Projectors w/ xenon - 10

so HID KITS are a big improvement. oh yeah..did I mention the
cheap ass asian blue bulbs- 1.2

if you don't care about cutoff or glare, and want to save money...just get a kit

I still want projectors though...

God bless
