TRD springs are Eibachs, so there shouldn't be a difference. The TRD and Eibach websites advertise different drops, so some people believe there is a difference. At any rate, the drop is either 1.2 or 1.6, depending on which one you believe. I have Eibachs, and I think they are really good quality. The +/- 1.5" drop is just right for my needs.

The Tein springs have only recently been used by people here, but they seem to like them, too. I think you'll be fine with either Tein or Eibach.

Does anyone have a higher front end in comparison to the rear end with the eibach/trd springs? or any other springs?

I think that there have been a number of people who have felt that they got more drop in the rear with Eibachs than they did in the front. I noticed that the rear end of my car looked lower in comparison to the front after having the Eibachs installed. Personally, I think it looks better that way. The stock Solara looks like it's butt end is way too high.

But wouldnt you want it to be evenly leveled or the front being a little bit lower than the rear? i just think it looks cleaner that way

The ground clearance on my car is the same at both ends, so the car is definitely level after having been lowered. I don't know what the ground clearance on my car was at both ends before lowering, because I didn't measure it. I always notice that the fender gap seems to be reduced more in the rear on lowered cars, so it seems that there must be more lowering on that end.

I have just always thought that the stock Solara looks like it's rear end is too high. Whenever I park next to a stock Solara, the rear of my car just looks more "tucked", which I think is a huge improvement over stock. Obviously, the reduced fender gap adds to the better look.

I second that, I can crawl under my rear, it's so high. I cant wait to get my new springs/struts on so the back looks like a sports car and not a lifted truck.

I lowered my 2001 solara about 1.5'' using eibach springs with 17'' centerline wheels. the ride is a little more rough but the car corners so much better. i think it is worth it to give up the soft ride.
