Personally i think a seat belt is one of them things that should be used. It is there for our protection. As for the light, sure its annoying, but it works. It also helps when people forget to put their seatbelt on

Also, now in jersey, not only can you be pulled over for not wearing your seatbelt, but if your passenger isn't wearing one, and they are under 18, you get the ticket. Seatbelts are life savors

It's pretty irresponsible for anyone to not wear their seatbelt while the car is in motion.
