No my 02 doesn't have the security light. so i can replace the guage without any problems. this is kinda off topic. but i was looking at www.toyotaparts4u.com today and notices that when i click under the 01 solara under suspension i see the RSB come up for $145. and will this RSB fit the 02 solara or is the suspension diff for the 02 and 01. when i clicked under 02 the RSB doesn't come up.also on this site they have the TRD springs for the 02 for $264 and the front drop is 1.25 and rear is 1.75 is that possible with the rear.5 lower then the front. i was goin to try to find springs that dont go lower then the 1.6 like the eibach's i kinda wanted to drop my car only about 1.25" anyone have a link maybe to a site or suggestions???

you're way off topic, use the search function. you'll find plenty of information about springs in the aftermarket section.

hsakuragi, the AC Controls aren't 194, theyre EuropeanLamps no. 2721.
Why spend all this money on paint when you can just use a Sharpie marker? That what I did, and it's working great...

Dash Lights

Postby Ac CoRp. » Fri Jul 11, 2003 9:14 pm

The Dash is very easy to pop out.....I tried using 194 Blur Led Lights and it looked pretty decent but it wasn't bright enought for me

I just got 2 pairs of the white 4-led 194's off ebay to replace my license plate lights and to do the odometer area of my speedo cluster and they're not that great. I bought some "xenon" 194's (just regular, not LED) for my license plate and they're a little bit brighter than the LEDs, even with 4 of em per bulb." so bottom line, i dont' think LED's are worth the extra money.

As Xntyax said in previous posts, the LEDs arent good for the cluster since it has a beam of light rather than the regular 194s that light up the whole area...

I did mine this past weekend and it took less than 1.5 hours inlcuding my ac controls... the first two screws on the speedo was a b*tch tho!!! so damm tight!! but got it out with a long long screwdriver

everything look great now hahah... good thing about this rather than doing the whole indiglo gauges... during the day it looks stock, then at nyte is when the color comes out!!

oh yeah not to mention the price:
changing bulbs- $6
indiglo (reverse) gauges- $20+
:evilbat:
