professionally, u suppose to take out the whole door panel in order to get the trim off.

Some of us just pop it out with a screwdriver and use glue gun to glue it back

so how would you take it off when you remove the whole panel? would it be the same thing to just popping it off with a screwdriver? what kind of glue do you use? thanks in advance...

Just pull them off carefully. It's held in by clips.
Glue is not necessary.

i think the whole deal with taking the door off is so that you can see how the trim is held in. but i'm pretty sure they should just pop right in. i'd take the door off anyway, just to be safe. it's about 3 bolts and 2 screws holding the door panel to the door.

all i had to do was pop the trim off... i put some carbon fiber vinyl on them... does anybody know how to have the vinyl mold on to the item itself? i had some wrinkles on the corners and round areas, just wanted to know so I could do it over again perfectly... thanks in advance...

Wrinkles are from excess vinyl...u'll need to cut it perfectly for the corners and round areas for no wrinkles.
