Please help me tweak up my 4cly, 5 speed engine 2000 Solara

What's up? Can anyone give me some advice, i got a 2000 SE Toyota Solara, and my questions is PERFORMANCE... I know i got a 4cyl engine BUT, it's a 5 speed :), is there any way i can tweak or modify anything to make my car faster?

I just wants some performance, a fast take off and some fast speed, im not talking about professional racing or anything but i just want some improvement that is not going to put a big, big dent on my wallet. thank for all the tips and comments.
