Winding noise from engine bay

Winding noise from engine bay

Postby SleeperSolara » Thu Sep 02, 2004 7:49 am

Once in awhile i'll be driving my car down the road, starting off the line sometimes, i will hear a winding noise near the center front of the car, near the clock. I think the noise is comin' from the engine bay, but i'm not sure what it is. I also happens in my 98 Camry same engine. We bought the Camry new, and Solara used. What you guys think it is.

Perhaps you may want to have a mechanic ride with you and point out the noise for him. Otherwise, this is kinda hard to pinpoint.

Winding noise from front of car.

Postby SleeperSolara » Fri Sep 03, 2004 10:58 am

No it's not the under body plastic spolier, the right one came off when some streets flooded. But i got that takin' care of i zipped tyed it down. It couldn't be the vents i think. The only think that is weird about my vents is that a white fog comes through when it's hot outside, and i'm switchin' to my a/c; the humid condensed air fog tuff, the white fog hapens to my dads' car. I don't think there is a hole in the firewall. It might be the vents, but not sure. It only happens oncein a while. any of you guys live in OKC so i can show you want i mean.
