I wouldn't call it a luxury car. It's a sporty version of the Camry and that's not luxury either. That said, it is a very good looking car with the same fit, finish and quality found in many luxury cars. So one could be forgiven for thinking that it is.

Definitely an entry level luxury sports coupe. I owned a 1994 lincoln mark vii, which was a luxury sports coupe. Virtually all the features of that car are present in the 1999 solara sle except air ride suspension, 7 disc cd changer (yeah, i don't know what a cd is either), V8 engine, traction control and a couple of small touches like the display would tell me how many miles i have left b/f empty, but that's a pretty weak feature as its never correct lol (damn i loved that car).
