License Plate mounts....

License Plate mounts....

Postby stosh » Thu Oct 21, 2004 10:20 am

We bought our solara used and whenever the dealership put the plates on they used what-ever mounts they had laying around. The screws never fit well and both screws were different and the plate always hung a little angled.

Anyway I may sound like I'm being picky.. but my question is has anybody replaced these and if so where'd ya get them? They seem like standard hardware. I got a nice shiny frame for the license plate and I want to mount it properly.

Check with your dealer, they should carry them. If not, contact other dealers, because they are universal.

There is no harm in trying, autoparts stores are always cheaper than dealerships!
