TRAC OFF and BRAKE dash lights...

Yeah. The brake light somes on sometimes. Fluid is FULL. Thing is, the damn thing comes on RIGHT after I start the car, even before I hit the brake. Can these sensors detect pad wear? It's not the park brake for sure. It goes off a lot of the time, too. The Hell?
The other day I'm driving and it's raining HARD. All of a sudden, the TRAC OFF light comes on (TRAC was on, though). I could give a damn about traction control, bt why would the lightsayinf it's OFF come on when TRAC is truly on?? Any ideas?

are you supercharged??? cause one time I hammered it w\ trac on and it tried to pull timing and I actually blew a knock sensor

it can be your brakes, inspect them.

the parking brake and rear brake are 2 different brakes.

Check the brake fluid level sensor in the resevoir cup.

More than likely, the front pads are worn out. I had a similar situation on a Chrysler some years back, with the TRAC light flickering and the BRAKE light staying on. Turned out to be the front pads, even though they were not making the tell-tale squeal...

a few things:
1. i'd suggest you try with some fresh brake fluid. suck out the old one to the best of your ability and pour in some fresh fluid
2. get your brakes inspected.
