a couple questions

hey what's up everybody i have a 01 Solara V6 5 speed. What i wanted to ask is how do you know when your clutch needs replacing?? and my second question is my car just came out of the dealer from it's 30,000 mile service before it went in my brake lights were coming on even when the e-brake was down all the way i checked the brake fluid and was topped off and when i dropped it off all they said was that it needed to be cleaned and adjusted (rear brakes). After getting it back from the service the brake light went away for a couple of days but then today it came back on . I was wondering if anyone else has had that problem?? i was thinkin my brake sensor is F*CKED up or something, i'm gonna take it back to the dealers sometime this week when i get some free time, just wanted to see everyones input before i took it back.

Might just be the pads, and not the lines. Mine went on when my pads were gettin low, but another time it wore all the way down with the light coming on. Im not sure how the sensor works exactly.

If you know how, Id just change the pads and see if the problem goes away

same things happened to me, just change the pads and it will go away

yes. check your brake pads.

that is the only thing that is left before a faulty sensor.
