How am I supposed to take off the sway bar?

How am I supposed to take off the sway bar when the exhaust pipe gets in the way? I tried everything possible, I even took off the struts (since I am changing struts anyways) and slide that thing to the side, it's not working!

Neither the haynes manual nor the paper that come with the swaybar talks about how am I supposed to take that bar off when I get all the bolts off... OMG this is slowing me down soooo much, I wasted 2 hours trying to figure out how to get that freaking bar off.

You will have patiently wiggle around the sway bar to get it out. You don't really need to drop the struts or muffler. I've done it on 2 Solaras and my Gen4, and yes, it does take some time, but not too bad. BTW, keep the original wrap on the new sway bar so when you install it, all the dirt and grime will be kept away from it. Just make sure you install it right side up.
