Stock talk about the Generation 1 and 1.5 Toyota Solara which were produced from 1999 to 2003.

Anyone get Haters with the 1.5?

Anyone get Haters with the 1.5?

Whenever friends or other people ask me what kind of car im going to get. I reply "Either a 99-03 solara, new body camry or a accord..."
They will then start to laugh..
I just think it is retarded that with most young people think that the solara is (what people tell me) a "Granny" car..
I think the Solara design is one of the nicest that Toyota came up with.. I cant wait to get mine..
I am going to look at a solara this week.. It is a 99 SEV6 w/moonroof.. Red/Black cloth.. i love the red!! it has 60k (im scarred thats too many to start off with..) and they are asking $9,600 obo.. maybe i can talk them down..

BTW the toyota dealer i work for will give me cars $100 above dealer price!! And.. i get discounts on all service and maintinance.. Just thought that was cool!-- So i might get them to go to the Dealer auction and find me one.. but they ask too damn much for everything else on the lot.. Wonder what i mean?-- Go to www.dryridgetoyota.com..

See you all later.. and get me back with what your thoughts on the Haters are?

I think it's great.

Went in for an interview and the interviewer asked me what I drive, I said "it's a Camry." It's better than saying I drive a boy-racer car.

There are haters for everycar ever made. to someone (certain domestics) we are rice, to us someone else is rice...its a dog eat dog world! Just as long as your are happy/satisfied with your ride, don't give a crap about what others think...

That or "chick car", until they ride in it... and realize that not only does it have more power than they expected, but it's also incredibly comfortable and refined. I have friends with four-door sedans who would rather sit in the back of my '02 Solara than the front seats of their own cars.

On another note, you might want to check if they did the 60k maintenance already, if they didn't, u should go ahead and get it done.
