Ok, so last night I gun it in first gear then at the next light my idle is bouncing from 600-800rpm. Then when I get to work last night it wasn't bouncing but it was idling at between 700-800rpm and it lost about 5hp. Then today on the way to work (I work 2 jobs) the check engine light comes on with no performance changes. Can anyone give me a good guess as to what I should check? Just don't feel like shelling out $85 just to get the CEL read. I was planning a 6 hour road trip on Tuesday until this happened. Thanks guys,
Josh

have you check if you blow any hose off? The code might be missfire if you have not change your spark plug at 60000 miles. Otherwise might be EGR, oxygen sensor or knock sensor
