It's a three-layer paint, meaning that there's three different "coats" on the body. Mine's the same type, Rainforest Pearl (6S3)... it's an undercoat of dark green, the pearlescant finish, and a glossy clearcoat on top. That's why the "normal" body kit for my car is $450-$500, and if I get it painted with my three-stage, it's $850. Sigh.

It's the price you pay for a beautiful paint job.

I paid $1,105 in the last Molly Group Buy for the TRD kit painted Diamond White Pearl and shipped to my door.....I thought that was a good price and the price Michael is giving it to you is even better.

I say you can't go wrong for $725........ :D

yeah i know its a good price. considering my options.

option a: town & country toyota: 600 shipped
option b: michael: not much more than town & country shipped
option c: toyota dealer: 1750 pick up

is town & country toyota reliable? seems like they have sold to people on this forum before. I want to see if i can work something out with them first. Seems like other solara guys on this forum would buy from them. If not, i have no problem buying from michael.

Are you referring to Toyota Dealer in Nashau New Hampshire b/c thats where I've gotten some of my parts from.

I would go with option B......I've heard that Michael is a respectable person to deal with from others and I would of purchased mine if I knew he could get them at the price he's giving you but I also got it before the 2nd Gen. Solara came out so the price was more back then.

Toyota Dealers always jack up the price unless you got a good connection where as I had one at the Nashau New Hampshire Dealership.

Good Luck on your decision.......... :)
