Well, as it seems to be happening to everyone...I, too, wrecked my Solara.

It's in the body shop now and insurance is paying for it to be repaired. A Camaro was speeding over a hill as I was pulling out of a parking lot and we hit at the same time, however I got the ticket for 'failure to yield right of way'. Since the car was speeding, it did more damage to mine than I did to it.

BTW, does anyone happen to know when clear corners for a 2002 may become available?

I'm still waiting on reverse indiglo's for the 02s. :)

make sure that you get him for negligence of speeding. He might get it reduced by like 40% but he was still more at fault then u were

not another one!! u ok, how bad is the damage? damn camaro drivers think they're the shi*.

faliure to yield to right of way..bad statement for u, but that worked out very nicely for me and i think that's what's gonna save sLoSoLaRa2k2 too

can u prove he was speeding (well minus the obvious damage!)?

i feel you... my solara was hit when some girl ran a red . She f'ed up my hood, bumper, and left fender. And the worst thing was i wasn't even in the same state when it happened. I live in jersey and i was in chicago takin a vaca with some friends and then i hear that my car got in an accident. I asked my mother to take it to the dealer to gt the routine maintanance and BAM  !!!! It's been over a month now and i'm stuck driving a whack ass Mitsu Outlander. I had an explorer for a bit, but gas was unbearably expensive.

I miss my baby  I miss my system. Soon though, i hope.

Nah, can't prove she was speeding. The cop says it doesn't matter anyways.

As for the damage, it's pretty bad...the estimate is $4,035, not as bad as I thought it would be actually.
