Im sure this question has been asked and i couldnt find the topic in the search menu, but on a gen1 can you disconnect the daytime running lights? If so what wires do i disconnect and does anybody have a diagram or picture? Thanks

unplugging the gray connector will just turn off the DRLs...but the lights will still turn on when it gets dark...

I think its required in Canada.

Theres some studies that say it makes you seen easier in the daytime, alerting other drivers and preventing accidents. Theres other studies that say it creates unnecessary glare, blinding drivers and causing accidents.

The truth? who knows. Both probably hold some truth but it does waste fuel, and kills headlight bulbs faster.

Day running lights on or off....there will still be plenty of retards on the road that don't know how to drive and are blind regardless what you have on your vehicle........ :o

Thats a big plug for such a little thing. Thanks my drls are now disconnected.
I also did search for it. I searched for day time running lights in the search menu nothing poped up. :lol:
