hmmm i noticed that my car makes this ticking noise when its off after driving and it goes away after awhile. Is this normal?

Nah......

All toyotas since I've ever known have done that.....its the exhaust metal cooling....all cars do this.....

Engine knocking, use better gas and fill up before your gas light comes on you dont want the sediment and crap to goto your engine.
