messed up turn signals

Postby AzN_DrAgoN48 » Sun Apr 10, 2005 9:57 pm

so just recently my turn signals stopped working. but i checked the relay and i check the fuse and they are all fine. sometimes they work when i start my car in the morning but then 5 mins into a drive they shut down again. sometimes when i hit the hazards they would start working again. the hazards always work by the way. any ideas?

Loose connector, maybe? or could it be the light bulb itselt? If you haven't done anything to the electronic system recently such as installing lights, modifying your dashboard, installing your stereo, so on, then it must be the problem with the signal light.

Just take it out and check it.

sounds like the hazard light connector is loose. Check that first(you would have had to remove it when u installed the stereo)

I had this problem with my camaro. The problem was the flasher. The hazards on my camaro use a different flasher, than the turn signals. That may be why they work fine. Im new to toyotas, but that could be something to check into.
