5S-FE: Coolant Bypass hoses?

Which hoses on he TB do you connect together to bypass the TB?

5S-FE: Coolant Bypass hoses?

TB = Taco Bell
i know the coolant hoses feeding the throttle body of the 1mz are on the very lowermost part of the assembly (had to remove intake piping to access it). You want to disconnect those from the tb and join them with a 5/16 barb fitting. Pull the hoses and see if coolant comes out. I guess you could also run the engine for a while and see which ones are hot? (tho definately let the engine cool completely before attempting to disconnect anything)

are you talking about the coolant line goes near by throttle body?

It's fun to do small cheap mods to your car but I don't think this is worth the trouble, plus the gains are not noticable on a "seat of your pants" dyno. My roommate and I both did this a while back and switched it back for the winter. Unless your hands are tiny, not much room to work on the 1mz.
