While im driving on freeways, i hear some sort of whining noise which seems to be coming from the rear. It sounds kinda like wind noise but i dont think it is... Its only at high speeds i really notice it. But yea..its kinda getting on my nerves now.. Any thoughts? Oh and one other thing.. What does flushing the tranny do? Does it make it any smoother to shift? Cuz i seem to have trouble sometimes putting it into 1st or when its cold, it seems a bit rougher. Alright well, thanks.

not really sure about the noise that you're having at high speeds. With flushing the tranny, it may solve your hard shifting problems. But usualy when you put your car into gear...it'll be hard because just like motor oil.....the gear oil needs to be warmed up and usualy shifting will get easier as you run your car. try pumping your clutch a few times before you put it into gear and it should be easier to shift.
