My '02 solara has a small access panel inside the glove compartment, up on the top. Inside is just a wiring harness with a plug mounted to the panel cover. Any ideas what it's there for?

yes, airbag. do not touch. yellow wires according to haynes manual.

Yes, DON'T touch it at all. It's your airbag equipment.

Ok.. that's kinda what I figured. On my last car (a GM) all the airbag wires were yellow too.
