Me and my friend just put on my apexi world sport exhaust. The install wasn't too hard at all, but the muffler on the exhuast hits up against a small metal portion on my rear end, right before the bumper. This is only when i go over bumps. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this because i can't move the muffler hangers  I'm gunna fool around with it a little more but just curious if anyone has had this problem before

im sure youll have to drill a new point anyway, so get a long strap to help hold it in place.

Are the rubber hangers hanging straight down like they were when the stock exhaust was on? Or does it look like the hangers are at angles cause the pipe length is a little off. My Greddy Evo connecting pipe on my 2k Camry was 1 inch too long. I had to take it to a mufler shop to shorten it. It made a rubbing sound too. Good Luck.

My exhaust hangers are hanging straight. Its not a rubbing noise, its like a bang only when i go over bumps. Once i get my xdrilled brakes i'll have my mechanic look at it

What you need to do is unbolt the muffler...and when you re-bolt it, PUSH UP on the exhaust and piping while you do so.

Make sure the rubber hangers are straight and you have alot of play room on the hanging arm to adjust the muffler.

Mine, bumped too, until I adjusted the back hanger so that the muffler moved to the center of the car and that worked. Now there is more clearence between the bottom of the car and the muffler.

Lube the hanger so its arm slides in the rubber opening easier.
