I just got doing hooking up my new Clarion 825 indash. Now the locking porting of the keyless entry doesn't work. It will unlock fine but it wont lock the car. What gives anyone else ever have something similar.

you replaced the headunit only? did you go and mess withthe factory amp behind the glove box and perhaps unplug one of the harness?

Nope I just unplugged the factory radio and hooked the wiring harness to the plugs that go to the speakers. U have to unplug them from the amplifer and plug those into the aftermarket radio.

try and plug your factory unit back and see if anything changes, if that doesnt work i can look up the lock wire and location and see if you can directly input an negative pulse to see if they still operate.

Yeah that will be the next step plugging in the stock radio again and see what happens. Also I noticed that the dome light is not turning on when I use the remote. I'll play around with it a little bit today and see what happens. I didn't have to time mess with it last night, it was dark and cold when I was done.

interesting, before you go back and rip the radio out make sure to check all your fuses first :-?
