I've finally decided to do the scheduled maintenance for my Lara. I'll be replacing the timing belt, water pump, and tranny flush probably. I don’t know why I've put this off soo long. I've bought other things or Laura that are more expensive and not as necessary, but now I’ve got to bite the bullet since I noticed my coolant is leaking  . 105,000k I've been put this off for a while hahahah!

I just went to get the car serviced at the dealership its going be around 450 for timing belt, tranny fluid, and coolant. Appearently when your boosted they have to charge you more cause its more work to take off the pulley plate and put it back on (go figure). They gave me a free loaner car (2006 corolla S type baby!) and a free car wash. I know that my Laura is in good hands at the dealership (knock on wood)

you should be careful with coolant condition because it could corrupt your headgasket.

Update: My car will be ready tomorrow afternoon for 450.00 considering I asked for coolant flush and tranny sevice extra 100 bucks, I think it was a real deal with the free loaner car. The waterpump didnt need to be replaced cool. :drinking:

That is how much the toyota dealership quoted me for my car. That is to replace both timing belts, acessory belts, and the water pump. Ive heard rumors though, that california costs a bit more than ohio though. So that may be the reason.

105, 000K? Wow! No what the maintence costs are, to get over 100 million miles on a car is a darn impressive feat. I guess I never really appreciated just how durable Toyotas are.
