do you have a boost gauge hooked up? cause it is probably the fitting coming off the S\C for reading boost hitting the strut bar.. if you don't have it hooked up its probably the auto tensioner which is normal

No I don't have a boost gauge (looking to get one).. So you guys get that noise too at IDLE?? but anyways I have no clue what auto tensioner is. Can any of u guys explain what it is? But man.. I feel the torque difference from a stock 1MZ-FE to SC.

Anyways looking to hit the track this week.. What times are u guys thinking i can hit with just SC and Intake and possibly brake launch.

If you have been pushing your car hard than you probably have the timing belt tensioner and idler pulley prematurly break and the timing belt is stretched out. . . That is what happen to me. . . it will make that rattling noise when it is in idle. . . So i had those parts replace along with the Solara and it runs like a champ :D

It sounds like a bearing that is going to wear out to me, but this is normal, just the way it sounds. I have heard that replacing the mineral oil in the spindle head with synthetic oil from a S/C oil change kit will quiet it down a little.

That noise is normal. What you are hearing is the gears in the sc. I was a little worried about that when I got mine installed too. -JoeB
