Has anyone painted the chrome to match the body color? I saw a shadow-version bimmer today that looked nasty! Is this a good idea? I think it sounds cool but I'd like to see it on a Solara first before doing it myself.

I want to black out the window trim!!! :x

windown trim = the black and chrome pieces that follow all around our windows

but taking it off to paint could reduce the prevention of leakage

that's what I meant, the chrome around the windows....I wasn't planning on removing it for painting though...I was just going to tape a lot of newspaper around it

i dont think i have chrome around my windows.... but i know the chrome-ish grill you can paint it black....
