6 disc in dash CD player problems

Postby gnaw_divad » Sun Oct 09, 2005 1:34 am

Hey guys, my sister's stock 6 disc in dash CD player just broke. No clue what happened, the stereo just says error, most likely the CD's got stuck. But after taking all the CD's out the unit is still not working.

I had the same problem happen to my car about 1 year ago, but my car was still under warrenty and it was fixed.

The dealership is quoting me 60.00 just to look at it and they say that it might not be fixable.

Anyways, just wondering if anyones had the same problem since both me and my sister had this happen to our solaras.

that happened to my cd player too. I have a regualar one. If you take it to the dealership they send it to california to get fixed and then they send it back. It costs like 300 bucks. I did it cause I wanted everything in my dash to be flush. If i would have done over i probably just would have bought an aftermarket cd player. I would just get a new cd player.
