akebono is pretty good for rear breaks

You dont need to spend a lot to get good pads. They have to be ceramic though, or else they will dust and squeal something awful. I am running wagner thermo quiets in the rear. Remember your front wheels do the majority of your braking.

P.S. - when I did my 2000's pads I found that I actually have camry rears, which is a different shaped pad. The "solara" pads wouldnt fit.

i have hawk hp pads, with brembo blanks and stainless steel brake lines. it makes for an excellent combination of stopping power, and brake pedal feel.

make sure you change the rotors or turn them with new pads so they seat properly. the braided lines gets rid of the squishy feeling.

as stocksolara said..check tirerack.com, they should have everythign i mentioned above.
