Gauge cluster?

Gauge cluster?

Postby Nyyankees3511 » Thu Oct 27, 2005 3:49 pm

I had the originals in but some were burnt out, so i put white ones and it was like yellowish and i didnt like it. So i tried blue and its like aqua and i love it but the needles arent as bright as before? Do the needles have a seperate bulb? If not i guess its just the blue bulbs. Thanks

It's most likely the bulbs, they aren't bright enough. If you look at the back of the gauge cluster, you should be able to tell which bulbs will go to the needles.

Theres no bulbs that go to the needles... but they do sell kits out there to change just the color of the needle when lit up... looks pretty sikk actually and Id buy the kit but theyre too pricey and VERY delicate to deal with...

The kits that ive seen run about $80.00... its nice to have a red cluster and blue needles... or vise versa 8)

EDIT: Heres a pic that impactX had posted up a while back... maybe you can PM him for details..... DAMMM now Im rethinking about this... haha
