Does anybody know if this can replace the knob style A/C controls with just a simple swap, or is the wiring harness totally different?

I assume it would have to be mdified and installed by a Toyota dealer. I guess worst case scenario I get it, if it's different I take it to Toyota, if they're going to rape me on an install, I lost 40 bucks.

Eh?

It's virtually impossible. The automatic a/c systems has numerous sensors and computer controls.

Yeah, I was banking on there being things like an outside/inside temp sensor in non Auto/cc vehicles, but then I have to realize... why would they put them there if you can't use them.
