I am looking for a cheap source to get somequality parts to swap out my timing belt, water pump, and struts..hitting 80k soon and figure i mine as well have my machanic do this stuff now

anyone know some good online sources with good prices..and is factory replacement considered the best you can do..minus the suspension of course

i am loking to retain factory ride quality..drop 1" would hurt either is i retain a good ride

Thats kind of a double edged sword.

As far as I know, you can't do a 1" drop. It's 1.25 or greater. Lowering springs won't ruin ride quality, but it's not recommended to lower your car on stock struts. The rule of thumb is you can expect 1 year or 10-15k miles before you blow out the struts.

Aftermarket struts, such as tokico blues, can handle a drop (up to 2-2.5") without any reduction in strut life, however, your ride quality will change. The car will handle much better, but you'll feel bumps more.
