Component Affected: SUSPENSION:SINGLE AXLE:REAR

Number of Vehicles Affected: 541

Manufactured From: Mar 30, 2000

Manufactured To: Apr 09, 2000

Defect: Vehicle Description: Passenger vehicles. Due to improper heat treatment, the rear axle may not have adequate strength in some areas.

Consequences: After extended use of the vehicle, the rear axle shafts could fail or break.

Corrective Action: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear axle hub assemblies.



wat? is that real? are there any more recalls for the 2000 solara? where do i find them and what do i do? i wasnt aware there was stuff like this...
