The traction control.

I was wondering if it was just my Solara or not, but the traction control button does not turn the traction off. Its rather annoying. The button must be held down to spin tire. If this is a wide problem, does anyone know how to disconnect the traction?

TC light came "TRAC OFF" when my check engine light was on for ~2 months. It ended up being a O2 sensor and when we got that fixed the TC was able to be turned on and off whenever....

Not that my tires don't spin anyhow, but how do you turn TC off in our cars in the first place?
