Sunroof Problem

Sunroof Problem

Postby buddha » Wed Feb 05, 2003 3:12 pm

I've been having this annoying problem with my sunroof. When its fully opened and I'm traveling 50 MPH or faster, the rubber seal that runs the length of the front of it flaps up and down. It really sucks, and it's noisy. Has anyone else noticed this? The guys at the dealership couldn't give me any solutions, other than to install a sunroof wind deflector. But that's a pretty stupid way to solve a defect in the workmanship. What do you guys think?

I agree...Granted I've got a moonrood on my ES and it doesn't have the deflector...I've got a sunroof on my Celica, it to doesn't have a deflector! (and i've travelled over 100 with the roof's open) I think its got something with you weather stipping rubber not being attached properly in the first place??
