I'm not sure if its all the time or just when its cold out... has anybody else expreienced this.. Btw I have an 02 stock SE...

my driver side knee panel (under the steering wheel) rattled when i went over bumps. but that was before i removed and replaced the panel and plate underneath when i installed my interior lights. now it never rattles. make sure the clips are in and everything is secured tight.

and yeah, my car dosent seem happy driving in this cold, snowy weather. i definately hear more sounds when the mercury drops.

check by tapping with your finger behind the air vent on top of the IP panel right up against the A pillar. I had an annoying bussing there, and found the ipanel had slight separation from the metal.

the fix: carefully remove the vent in that area and stuff a small piece of cloth in there. this should fix your problem.

note: although I don't have problems with knee bolster rattles, in diagonsing the above problem did, hunt for months under the steering column and inside where all the wiring attaches to the fuse box, so when I did find out that it was at the A pillar area, was very happy :D

good luck.

ps: cold weather does suck and BSR's do crop up all of the time. BUT, I do think that if I owned an OEM model, it would be a lot worse. :P
Wishin for warmer weather!!!
