Dyno run

Dyno run

Postby kondo » Mon Feb 10, 2003 3:07 pm

I put my 99 Superchargerd SLE on a dyno to see how much HP I was making. I had denso iridium 22 plugs put in before the run. I also have a Injen intake and a Greddy Evo and the stock pulley. The test was done on a dynopak where they take the rims off and put pole looking things on the hubs that go into a box on each of the front wheels, so ther was no loss caused by slippage on rollers of anything. Anyway here is a print out of the run. The most I was able to get was 186HP and 204Ft/lb. For some reason the chart dips at around 5300 and then peaks out a 6100. Anyone have any idea what is causing this? The guy at the shop thought that the mixture was running too rich right there but I did not have him run a air/fuel test so I'm not sure.

I'm not familiar with what a dynopak is but your dyno results are extremely low. An auto with no other mods should hit 204-210FWHP plus the greddy and injen. I don't know if you are running too rich, but i think you could be running too lean. I'd upgrade the pulley, get an S-AFC and dynotune it

You need to dyno again this time checking your a/f ratio. Get a bung welded in b4 the cat so you can get a acurate reading.
