Take out the traction control fuse.

I really doubt that it is 100 dollars for a new button. Ask around here you can probably get one alot cheaper then that.

Well i solved my problem...I took off the center console and found out the button was not plugged into any wires. Easy fix, but what gets me is I had the dealership look at it and they said I would need a new button ($50) and another $50 for installation. This seems a little high for plugging in a wire that they failed to plug in when they sold me the car...lol...glad to avoid an unnecessary trip to the dealer and to have an extra $100.

this just proves some of the dealer's servicemen.

All in it for the dollar, nothing more.

you should write letter to the office side of that toyota dealership. that should get things moving.

i had a friend that was hired as a service manager for a chevy dealership and he quit within a month because he said that he couldn't take all the scams that were going on!
