front bumper repair

Postby mettler » Sun Jul 02, 2006 5:27 pm

I hit an animal while driving on the hwy and did some damage to my front bumper - 2000 Solara. It sort of broke all the vertical support pieces that hold the bottom part of the front bumper to the next horizontal rail. The vertical supports are about 2 inches tall. They all broke at the same spot, and I was thinking to trying to fix it with fiberglass. I don't think it will be too difficult, but I was wondering if anyone has done anything like that.

thanks
