so i had my suspension done today and the ABS indicator turned on, so is my traction control indicator that keeps on blinking. i've done some searching and based on previous posts it could be that they broke my sensor or disconnected it. my question is, should i be worried about going on a road trip in that condition? it;ll be a 3 hour drive, from where we are to the destination. is there any DYI tips i can do on my own? the solara's going back to the shop on monday since the mechanic doesn't come in on the weekends.

I'm sure you'll be fine with the broken ABS sensor(s), I know I've got 1 or more broke for like 3 or 4 years now  That shop won't be to happy, I hear the sensor is pretty expensive....I don't know about the traction control though.

I'm not sure, call your local dealership to find out.

So the shop is fixing the abs/trac sensor problem, part has been ordered, so should I wait until they do that and get an alignment or will it be okay to go ahead and get the alignment done? The Solara's been parked since the road trip, I'm itching to drive the damn car. Thanks for all the help guys.

I was hoping it was just disconnected but no, the sensor was damaged during install, but the shop owner and I are cool, he's replacing them free of charge, also my auto start was not working properly and he fixed that for free too. Now we're just waiting for the part to come in, but today the car goes in for an alignment. Thanks for the help SG!
