noise???

have you guys ever gotten a weird noise when you are driving in the rain....i know that i read a post on this, but i can't locate it now! this morning on my way to work, whenever i hit a large puddle of water in the road, i would get a vibration sound and i swear that my exhaust sounded louder than ever....and then it would go away...weird!!! any ideas?

well i finally found the post, but nothing is for sure....i think that it has something to do with the cat getting wet when it is hot and hit with a large amount of water as somebody else stated!

Just get it checked out. Did your car throw a CEL?

nope...just the weird sound when i hit some water and it lasted for about 10 second....but it happened probably three times!!!

not alot of vibrating, but more noticably is the sound, like i have a hole in the exhaust for about ten seconds after the water hits!
