which brake pads? I had a problem with my rear brake pads. Apparently there are two different sizes for different year cars for gen 1.

I tried putting 2000 rear pads in my 1999 and they seem different.

I thought they were the same. But it shouldnt matter because....

You should be using NEW brake pads. Theres never a time you should throw on used brake pads. Those brake pads are already worn into the rotors on the totalled car and your rotors wont mate well and will more than likely chew them up in short order.

You could bring over both the pads and rotors, in which case it would be OK.

If Im correct there is a difference among the cars brake. Mines a 2000 and I have to use a 2002 If I remeber for the rear because the 2000 didnt fit. Its been awhile but there are a difference.
